Enlisted

Spixla Editorial · Research checked

Enlisted is a World War II online shooter in which you command a squad while directly controlling one soldier at a time. Your other soldiers follow AI orders, and you can switch into a surviving squad member when the current soldier falls. The result combines individual shooting with responsibility for the rest of your unit. Spixla’s current Enlisted offer is unavailable; the game panel is the place to check for a change.

How an Enlisted battle works

Infantry, tanks and aircraft fight in the same battles. Between engagements, you train and equip soldiers, choose specialist classes and prepare squads for different jobs. You can try more than one role within a session, but the main distinction is the squad system: losing your current soldier need not end your immediate participation. These are the basics described in the official game overview.

The tactical question is therefore broader than where you should stand. Consider where the rest of your squad is waiting and how it can follow you. A good position for one rifle may expose several soldiers behind it. Our suggested learning goal is to keep your unit useful while moving toward the objective, rather than judging the match entirely by one soldier’s kills.

Who is Enlisted for?

It suits players who enjoy WWII equipment, active frontline battles and a mix of shooting and unit management. The publisher’s class overview describes specialists with their own weapons and perks, making role variety part of the appeal. It may suit you less if you only want to manage one persistent avatar, dislike equipping squad members individually or prefer an uninterrupted solo story.

Choose the right version before installing

Official platforms are PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. On PC, use the current Enlisted listing from Darkflow Software and Gaijin Network Ltd; the publisher’s Steam page uses Enlisted as its title. Old references to Enlisted: Reinforced describe an earlier Steam launch.

A Windows offer on Spixla concerns that route, not every supported console. Check the current client’s hardware and storage requirements before downloading. Existing players should also verify how their current account works with the chosen storefront before creating a second account. If joining friends, agree on the game version and check the current cross-platform options together.

What to practise in your first session

  1. Learn soldier switching early. Check which squad member you have selected before using specialist equipment.
  2. Practise giving a squad order, moving yourself and switching back. This makes the relationship between direct control and AI followers visible.
  3. Read each available soldier’s class and equipment. Give a new specialist a specific task rather than treating the class name as a general upgrade.
  4. When an engineer becomes available, learn rally points. The official rally-point update identifies them as structures that help the team advance. Review the displayed distance to the capture point when choosing a spawn.

Repeat one familiar role long enough to notice a useful improvement: reaching the objective with surviving squad members, understanding a specialist weapon or providing a helpful spawn. These are suggested practice goals, not guarantees about scoring or the best progression route.

Frequently asked questions

Are all the soldiers in my squad human players?

No. You directly control one soldier; the others use AI and obey your orders. Other players lead their own squads.

Do I have to pay to begin?

The base game is free. Optional store content exists, and an unavailable Spixla offer should not be treated as a promised starter reward.

Why do guides emphasize engineers?

Engineers can build rally points that help teammates reach the fight. Our engineer and rally-point guide develops that support role.
