Arknights: Endfield Factory Power: Troubleshooting Relays and Production

If an Endfield factory stops working, check whether the problem is electricity or production before building anything else. Trace the connection to the affected facility, inspect the available power, then check its input, selected process and output. A nearby relay alone is not proof that the whole route works.

This guide covers a diagnostic approach to early AIC production. It is not a precise blueprint for every mission or region. Facility names, available tools and controls depend on progression and input method.

Why is my Endfield factory not working?

Do not start by dismantling the factory. First identify the smallest affected section: one machine, one branch, or the region. Our suggested checks below isolate one possible cause at a time. They are a troubleshooting method, not a claim that every stoppage has the same cause.

For a mission asking you to transmit power, follow that mission’s marker and confirm its requested endpoint. Do not substitute a generic factory layout for the objective. After each repair, let the relevant facility run and check the result before changing another part.

Did Relay Tower connection range increase to 100 meters?

Not according to the March 12 update. GRYPHLINE increased the distance allowed before a wire disconnects: Relay Towers went from 90 to 100 meters, and Electric Pylons from 40 to 50 meters. The same note says the circuit connection distance did not change. Those figures must not be used as a new placement-range specification. See the official March power-transmission changes.

When following a video, compare the tool being used and the actual connection indicator, not just the apparent gap between towers. If the client rejects a connection, read its feedback. This article does not provide a meter-by-meter build route or an unverified universal coverage radius.

What should you do when electricity is insufficient?

The February DEV Comm documents a top-view control for switching selected facilities on or off together. We recommend temporarily pausing nonessential production while investigating a shortage, rather than expanding demand further. Restore facilities in small groups and observe the result. The control is official; that diagnostic sequence is our recommendation. Read the February AIC controls update.

The June update added automatic Backup Power when a region loses power during play. It temporarily powers facilities and has a cooldown. Treat it as time to repair the underlying problem, not permanent generation. The cited notes do not give exact duration or cooldown numbers, so check the current interface for those values. Read the June Backup Power notes.

Why can a facility work in Wuling but stay locked in Valley IV?

Region and research progression can differ. The July update explains that facilities received through early Wuling access may be usable there before the corresponding Basic AIC research makes them usable in Valley IV. It also adds a mission shortcut beside research criteria and zoom controls for the Database’s production-chain view. Use those screens to inspect the dependency you actually need. Read the official July research and production changes.

A small first-factory test you can repeat

  1. Choose one output needed for your current objective.
  2. Trace its line and note the first status that does not match your expectation.
  3. Change only that section, keeping the other variables as consistent as possible.
  4. Observe whether the required output appears and whether the fault returns.
  5. Expand only after you can explain how the working line is supplied.

If the problem remains, record the region, mission, facility name and exact warning for a support request. Avoid including account credentials. A precise description is more useful than a screenshot of an entire unexplained factory.
