Compare anime-styled games by combat, exploration and squad systems. This collection includes action RPGs and adjacent squad games; visual style is a useful discovery filter, not proof that every game plays the same way.

Exploration and systems
Genshin Impact and Neverness to Everness offer different settings. Endfield adds a factory-system focus to its action and exploration; check whether that extra layer appeals to you.
Combat and squad timing
Zenless Zone Zero and NIKKE ask different combat questions. Our focused guides explain Daze and Chain Attacks in the former, and Burst sequencing in the latter. NIKKE is included as an adjacent squad shooter, not mislabeled as an open-world RPG.
Before choosing
Look at representative gameplay and current platform support. A dramatic trailer does not show every progression system or purchasing option.

Platform is a separate check
A Windows campaign is not a complete list of a game’s platforms. Confirm the publisher’s current requirements and your region before installing. Free-to-play also does not mean every item or progression option is free.
